I sold a jacket just like that one to a friend. About a month after buying it from me he took a fall at freeway speed. I was bummed because I sold him the jacket for about half the price you paid so I was taking a loss on it but he couldn't spend more at the time. The jacket served it's purpose and I think that friend would have been happy even if he spent $3000 on it. I got mine new for $120.00 on the internet (I already had a similar jacket so I knew that it fit even though I didn't try it on) and I see them at around that same price every once in a while but I think you would have to go through a lot of hassle and waste a lot of time to find one $20 cheaper. Remember that they only work when you are using them
