I'm glad that he got convicted, but there is no way that he is going to have a tough time in the joint. Some of the comments here reflect a pretty complete lack of awareness of prison sociology.

Anyone who is a celeb or famous is a big-shot in prison, period. Prison is the loneliest, most boring place on earth and it's filled with nobodies. A minor sports figure would be a huge deal in most prisons, OJ was a superstar. And a Hollywood actor who lived the high-life and was rich and famous. Lastly, in his prime he would have been the toughest guy in most prisons. He was probably the toughest guy in the NFL when he played. You guys think that a 61 y.o. guy who is tougher than a $2 steak is going to be an object of desire for sex-starved young inmates? Or that anyone could rape him if they wanted?

He will be a huge celeb in the joint. He started out life as a thug, (in a gang as a child), he is still a thug and will do just fine in prison. The boredom might kill him, though. Let's hope.
