Change CHIP for more power??
There must be about a half-dozen different manufacturer's chips that can be substituted into 944 computers which boast more power/torque. HAS ANYONE SEEN DYNO-REPORTS on any, to know which ones give best value. Some cost barely 3 figures, some nearly 4 figures. Has Pelican, or any other seller, or a magazine, or 944 racing team or organization, or any other group done trials?? My car is a '90 S2, and it does seem that each model gets its own chip, so maybe tests on all those available for all models/years is too much to expect, but some data must exist. Please-- share what you know if you've seen anything on this. [I just put $500 into a set of new Kumho tires, and now I'm ready to do the next thing to increase performance]
