swing, day, mid with 8 hours off between 8 hour shifts.
26 years as an air traffic controller.
The shift work was more fatiguing than the job.
I have heard of studies on Fed Ex pilots that fly just the red eyes/mid flights actually may have a shorter life expectancy.
