the sheeple have been told that harleys are a good and necessary part of the US economy and lifestyle. this has been done through rampant advertising and expansion of the retail side of the bsns. it's like letting a scared dog sniff your hand. once he knows you won't beat him he's okay with you. but if nobody introduces your hand to the dog the fear is always there.
