I put CF Scoops on my CF hood

Got a pair of CF hood vents from Carbontrix HERE

2 hours later I have holes in the hood. With my headers now wrapped, I'm hoping to bring some cold air in and shorten my air intake. I am taking out the K&N from the air box and sealing it up air tight with out a filter at all. Then placing the smaller K&N cone filters directly on the airbox ends. Cones will end up right underneath the vents. I plan on using heat safe foam to "Seal" the hood around the cones. Foam will be glued to the underhood heat liner I got from Robert Budd.

Idea is less distance = less resistance to air flow with colder air than I would get in front of the engine. I was currently pulling air from behind the E-fan instead of in front of the radiator.

This will also give me more room to tinker with out having to take off the tubes. Should have an after pic of the intake after I get the engine back in the car in a couple weeks.

BTW Hood is wet from being rinsed off after drilling and cutting.

And now the poor quality phone pics...
