Frustrating I am sure. Good Luck.

Years ago we had a Dachshund, Rusty. He was a great dog. Our neighbor, about my age at the time and a real bully got caught by my dad throwing rocks at Rusty. Funny thing, is Rusty would just sit there and look at Duane (the kid), yes that dog would take the pelting and just set there taking it. Dad talked with our neighbor and all worked out. Dad loved that dog and told us not to let Rusty near Duane. We were young and did not understand but we made sure ole Rusty stayed away when Duane was in the yard.

Well one day Dad and my brothers are working on Dad's VW with Rusty in the Garage with us. He was mellow. Well Duane came running in, very unexpected and we kids found out why Dad didn't want Duane around the dog. If you have never seen a wiener dog go after somebody well it is, . . . . interesting. That was the first time I ever saw a dog bite someone in anger. It didn't just break the skin, ole Rusty nearly tore a chunk out of Duane's thigh. I bet that kid still has a bad scar. Well god knows how many stiches to the inside of the thigh later but all was well. Duane's dad was totally understanding and Duane accepted the doggy justice, of course it was a different day. It was just interesting how Rusty just took it and than doled it out and even more so (to this day my brothers and I agree) how Dad just knew what would happen. Oh did I say it was over a year after the stoning? It was.

So if chickens have 1/10th the gial that Rusty the Hound did, it may not be a good idea to introduce the two (LOL)
