I would just like to say that, in honor of this thread, I fired up my 3.0 tonight and ran it for about 20 minutes, at oh, about 3,500 rpm. While it was running, I then fired up my 2.7, and repeatedly revved the ***** out of it to spike the oil pressure and check on some leaks I just fixed. If my 2.4 was actually in the car, I'd have fired that up too.

Did I mention the 3.0 has a wide-open exhaust? The sounds were glorious. The neighbors were running for the hills.
