Getting my truck repaired took endless phone calls and extensive research of my vehicles current market value.
If I were to just 'go with the program', they would have totaled and given me some low value check and let me fend for myself.
The last thing I needed was to get in a wreck and end up with payments again just to get into an equivalent vehicle. My truck has been paid off for 2 years and only has 100k miles!
That holds big value today. Real value. Money is worthless right now.
