Yes I have. It is a big reason they went from over 50% in their heyday to where they are now. Their late 70's, 80's and early 90's models were abysmal. No argument there.
They lost market shere the old fashioned way, they earned it. It will take a decade or more to change opnion of the motoring public. You need to have the products we want.
Outside of a few models, I find many of the Japanese and Korean models suffer from the same blandness. Yes the Civic and Camery are great cars; but they do nothing for me in terms of style. I'm still of the school that a car needs to look good as well as run good.
I'm not ready to accept the notion the no American auto industry is good for this country.
