For some reason, in recent weeks, Greensboro has had the highest gas prices in the nation (according to the local news). Now the major east coast pipe lines run through here, and a huge tank farm is not far away. Someone recently followed a tanker that filled up here, then drove a few miles to the state line to deliver the fuel to VA where the price was approximately 50 cents per gallon cheaper. State taxes, etc. don't even come close to justifying the difference, so SOMEBODY is sticking it to us

. As usual, when an "event" happens, the price goes up IMMEDIATELY and "they" justify it as being due to the price they'd pay to replenish their tanks...funny it doesn't happen the other way around isn't it?
