Yes, you can tell whether your cylinders are the Biral 2.4 or Nikasil ... just by looking at the fin pattern on the underside of the engine! There are radial 'gaps' in the cylinder fins at the 0°/360° , 90°, 180°, and 270° positions of Biral 2.4 cylinders ... whereas RS 2.7 Nikasil fins are continuous around the entire 360° circumfrence of the fins!
