On this we can agree. I don't believe I have ever claimed anything to the contrary. From top to bottom, the SEC is the best conference in the country.

Now, I appreciate your passion for the Big 12. It is a lot of fun to root for "your teams". I know, because that is what I do for teams from the West. But, your caustic and overblown reaction to USC losing a single game combined with your seeming need to defame the PAC 10 to elevate the mighty Big 12 and cling to the coat tails of the SEC is pathetic.
I don't defame the PAC10 to elevate the Big 12. The voters cover that quite nicely. 4 of the top 10, with 1/2 of the conference in the top 25. They really don't need my support. I defame USC because consistently the west coast press and fanboys like you proclaim them as the best team in the land, despite playing a schedule that is consistently easier than most other major conference teams. After they lose a game that they should win easily, the rest of the season is spent making excuses for the loss, and why the really are the best team in the land.

I can feel you starting to squirm and regret posting this thread to begin with. And, I have a feeling you are going to have a lot more crow to eat before this college football season is over. Not for your lack of skill in choosing winners or losers (great job so far!), but for your caustic attack on a team and a conference that you happen to hate.
You presume too much.

Next time, you may want to focus your enthusiasm on the teams you like instead of starting entire threads intent on offending others.
If you offend easily, you're really in the wrong forum.
