I've sold two cars to Carmax, found them to be very fair. There is no harm in trying. They take the car and inspect it while you wait, then if they are interested give you an offer. It is no-haggle - you either like it or you don't. I like that...no BS.
Craigslist people asking the pp seller to finance? Are they nuts?!?!?
