Hi,

I have 87 924S with leaky gas tank, too. I was told the new tank would cost 1100.00. When I called this shop down in Pompano, Fla.,where specializing in new/used Porsche parts, every tank he had for my car has same leak, he said. I guess it is common problem for our cars.

I also run into the problem of having rubber hoses being very brittle, and cracking, causing fuel smell in the cabin.

Check my post regarding to cracked fuel tank. On that thread Matt says he has used tank available. I don't know the asking price.
