Who invented this suck up day? Hallmark?

I hate that my team feels compelled to buy me crap. They get payed to do their jobs. And they do them pretty darn well. There is no need to make me feel "appreciated" by buying me candy or trinkets. I feel appreciated by having a team that does their jobs well, and makes us all successful.

I think next year, I'll take them to lunch for bosses' day.
