Might want to put a location in your profile so we can tell what part of the world you live in. Helps to evaluate dealer comments and gives us a frame of reference for your questions/comments.
What I did was install the Remus header and keep the stock cans, which I like. Gives a bit more sound without angering the neighbors. I guess I've out grown the joy of blasting cars when I pass. This leaves the O2 sensors, gets rid of the cat and does not void the warranty.
