Additional notes on installation of the bumper:

Notice the four holes on the tub just under the lip of the hood, in the above picture with the car on the lift. After the stock parts are removed, those holes should be used to mount the bumpers. The flange on the F-glass bumper should be just about right to drill through, leaving enough f-glass between the hole and the lip/edge of the flange. If there isn't enough f-glass, it'll probably crack. If that's the case, you might have to glass a bit onto the bumper.

I also used a strip of aluminum flat stock (3/4" wide by 1/8th or so (bought at the ACE hardward store) as a backing strip to sandwich the f-glass bumper to the tub. It should prevent the holes in the f-glass from cracking and pulling through from the bolt/screw holding it in place.

I used the stock fender screw clips and screws to mount the bumper to the fenders. Because the f-glass bumper is thinner than the factory smile I stacked a couple of washers between the head of the screws and the bumper. This is important just under the headlights otherwise the tip of the screws will go through the undercoating and paint...allowing rust to form later. Four or five screws on each fender will do it. I intend to make an aluminum backing strips for these areas also. It will help the f-glass to mate flatly to the fender without any waviness while providing support to the bumper so it doesn't crack at the drill holes.

Also, because the bottom/lip of the bumper curls up, it will hold water when you wash it or when driving in a heavy rain storm. I intend to drill drain holes on the bottom (not visible from normal viewing points) at the lowest points on each side of the grill opening.
