About nine years ago I had some friends over and we were drinking and getting dressed up to hit the bars on Halloween. We had candy and handed it out to all the kids who knocked on the door. One of my friends was dressed in drag and was VERY convincing. Around 9:30 or so we were all set to leave and some more kids came by with their babysitter. We were out of candy by then. One of the kids got kinda huffy about it. I said I was sorry, but it was kind of late and we were just out of candy.

A few hours later we came home from the bars and a police officer's business card was in my door with a note asking me to call him. I called and he came over. Trying not to laugh, he said he had gotten a report of someone dressed in drag mooning a trick-or-treater. Just as he said that, my friend walked down the stairs while wiping his nail polish off. Cop chuckled. We told him what had happened and assured him no one had mooned anyone. Cop said kid claimed my buddy lifted up his skirt while walking up the stairs, which were right behind my front door. He just asked to see out ID's and told us nothing would happen. Since then I have always found something to do outside the house on Halloween between the hours of about 5-9pm. Wifey and I will go to dinner next Friday night.
