I got scammed. Bought 10 pelicans to breed on the internet and they didn't.
I called and told my vet. He said he'd never heard of anyone breeding pelicans on the internet and asked how it was done. I explained my ambiguous sentence structure to him and he understood.
He drove over to my house to take a look at the birds. My vet's a devoted ornitheologist. He literally worships birds.
He took one look at my birds and said "You've been scammed. These birds can't breed". I asked why the heck not. He said they weren't pelicans, they were pelican'ts.
So I planted them in my garden.
None came up.
