FWIW:
A few months ago when I was replacing my windshield with the C2 trimless window rubber, my aged windshield cracked. I called a local glass guy and found a tinted, internal antenna windshild for $55.00. It seemed strange since it had a hard plastic trim around the edge of the glass. I had never seen a 911 windshield like this, but the guy guarenteed it would fit my 911. He said it was off a lease and the insurance company replaced it when the car was turned in.

Well last night I received my first issue of Christopherus and there is an article on Porsche glass. I was amazed to find that the windshield I installed in my 78SC came of a 996! I guess somethings don't change.
