Today around noon, we were zipping through Arkansas just west of the Hwy 7 exit (on I-30) when the V1 rings Ka...slowed, crested a hill, Ark. State Trooper in the median (Dodge Charger). No problem...then Ping, Ping! 2 bogeys ahead Ka...hmmm, scatter off of oncoming trucks? let's see. Nope, double trap. then "deedle, deedle"...less than 1/4 mile ahead,another Charger on the operpass, hidden by trees as you approach. Tropper outside the cruiser shooting laser from above! WOW! Then about 1/8 mile ahead, 2 Chargers waiting on the shoulder to pick up "laser boy's" call-ins. WHEW...then....ANOTHER Ka hidden in the median about 1 mile down....Sort of "Just when you thought it was safe to go into the water"....V1 worked like a champ. I'm used to double traps, but this was crazy!
