On topic: I worked at Micky-Ds when I was a kid and gotta admit, never once saw any of this. Hope that reassures some of you. Now, there was this one cook who just really hated it when this one guy came in, for some long-forgotten reason. He always ordered his burger w/no pickles. So the cook made it with no pickles, after reaching into the pickle bucket (they came in 5 gallon buckets) and completely drenching the burger in pickle juice.
Friend of mine ordered two quarter pounders, rare. WTF is this, Ruth's Chris? He had ordered in the drive-thru. I sent him on his way with a smile. Halfway home (10 miles away) he must have opened up the burgers (frozen untoasted buns, frozen uncooked patties), because I got an earful when he came back through. It was worth it.
Spitting in drinks? Nope, would never do it. Used to go to lunch frequently w/a colleague that just seemed to make a point out of being a b***h to the staff. The rest of us were always extra-friendly, in the hopes that any spit would be in her drink only.
