Not saying that, just saying that the 84-89 heat setup works better. The main reason for this is the added footwell blowers. It's just a better setup than the pre 84 setup.
Then if you go back further pre 75 they only used the engine fan to move the heat. This was even worse. Bottom line is that Porsche improved the heat in 84.
