Double check your local info. In St. Louis, all the major locals will be UHF.
I will have no need for VHF.
On a side note. I have been tweaking my antenna setup. The local PBS affiliate is about 70 degrees from the other major channels antenna towers so getting all stations to come in perfectly with one antenna has been a bust.
I recently used a jointenna to hook up a double antenna system with one antenna pointing 90 degrees off north with the other pointing 168 degrees off north. Works great.
the jointenna allows one antenna to pick up channel 39 only and the other receives all the other channels except 39.
