Yes it has been done by at least one person- there is a guy, he is registered on these forums actually- that has a bright bright yellow 924 with a big V8 under the hood and a blower. It is a caged drag car. It has some body flares and no rear spoiler. He said the entire rear suspension was replaces with some live axle setup I believe. I can't find any pictures however.
