Cue the fanboi! Who has USC played again? Who did they lose to? If they're the best team EVERY YEAR, why do they never seem to win all of their games on an easy schedule?
1. Alabama 9-0
2. Texas Tech 9-0
3. Penn State 9-0
4. Texas 8-1
5. Florida 7-1
6. Oklahoma 8-1
7. USC 7-1
8. Utah 9-0
9. Oklahoma State 8-1
10. Boise State 8-0
For once I actually halfway agree with the BCS. Though I don't think PSU deserves to be #2 with their soft schedule. Personally I think strength of schedule should get even more weight in the equation. Then we might actually have a competitive championship game.
Alabama actually has a fairly light rest of the year (for the SEC), only facing LSU and then the SEC championship. PSU has it easy, though #16 Michigan State could be a problem for their last game (fingers crossed). TTU has a hellish road, getting #9 O-State then #6 OU on the road. Poor Texas almost made it, but the 4th straight top-10 opponent in a row finally caught up with them. They should win out, but need TTU to drop 2 games for them to end up in the Big 12 championship game. Florida also has it pretty easy, facing #22 FSU in their last game. OU still has TTU and O-State, and needs a miracle to win the South.
What a season, especially for the Big 12 South.
