BigPainterDude, one of the few thing I have come to understand now that I am nearly three times as old as I was when I knew everything...is that the visible world (and perhaps the one we don't see as well) has a rhythm. If we try to force our preferrred timetable on things, the machinery goes haywire. It takes far less energy, and is far more effective, to sit quietly and listen for that rhythm before we decide on a course of action. This is why mature men outperform the younger guys nearly every time (my apologies to you young guys out there). In my previous life as a young, high-energy, trail-blazing, take-no-prisoners, I'll do it my way lad, I caused myself tenfold more work and misery by trying to make something happen whether or not the world was making it easy or hard. I don't know what you're trying to do with the 993 issue, but I'll confess that it sounds as if this is an excellent time for you to sit back, relax and wait. If it's meant to be, you'll get a call and the price will be to your liking. If it's not, then buying the car will be your worst case scenario, even if you don't think so right now. That's my advice whether you like it or understand it or neither.
