question on oil leak
I had the car @ my mechanic for an oil change, fuel stabil, etc before she is put away for the season. My mechanic (who i trust) said I have a small oil leak from the valve covers. He had mentioned that because he doesn't see any other problems which would point to the need for a top end rebuild that he would recommend replacing the valve covers with aluminum ones. He said also, that while they were doing this that they could check to see how things were looking inside.
My question, has anyone had good fortune switching from magnisium valve covers to Aluminum ones?
My mechanic figured this would definatly hold off the need for a top end for a while. thoughts?
