Man that hurts. Fantastic writer, just fantastic.
Stephen King flips out, Grisham has the depth of a kiddie pool, Clancy decides to start writing encyclopedias for military equipment junkies and dimwits like the guy that wrote 'along came a spider' are considered great writers. Yet Michael Crichton, one of the best fiction writers i have ever read is gone.
Truly a sad day.
Reading Jurassic Park before the movie was made was truly a fantastic experience. creating that massive world in your own head.....god that was fun.
