I understand your frustration and good on you for waiting - like Super said - what will be will be.
But here comes my guidance counsellor advice (sorry) - be honest with your wife and let her know how much you've got and that you are holding off. It will free you of any guilt and she love you more and appreciate your being honest and also showing maturity (responsibility) in holding off.
