Right, a short hose is what I was thinking. Problem is I can't think of any way to attach the hose to the stock plastic screw that's down there. That's what got me thinking about a screw-in draincock with the ability to attach a hose on the outlet side. I guess I could try to measure the thread pitch and see if I can find something that way. I just can't believe I'm the first person to want to do this.
