Did you check the oil level and be sure it wasn't overfilled? I assume you know to check it w/ engine hot, on level ground, w/ engine idling.
If it's not overfilled, your turbo scavenge pump could have failed, or something to do with scavenge, cracked oil line from sump to pump, loose banjo fitting on pump, either of these would make the pump suck air and not empty the turbo sump, causing it to back up into the turbo. Scavenge issues seem to show up more at an idle, I guess the lower speed of the sump pump tends to aggrevate things...
