That was from the previous owner/seller. He went through the car with a fine tooth comb, leaving no detail un-touched, while turning it in to a "real" 993. If he waited a few more years, he could've bought one for what he had in to it. I think the original asking price was $85k. Eventually he dumped it for $35.5 and now this guy, after spending another $12k thinks he's going to get $43k+
I'd gladly give him $20k for it.
Note: I'm not making light of the current sellers situation, however I can't help finding it funny when folks spend a bunch on their car, add that to the price and expect that to be the current value...
