Thanks more guys! Well I have to say that the mods this car has on it don't seem quite that standard.
let me list them to confirm:
Short Shift Kit
Carrera Chain Tensioners
Pop off valve
74 OEM exhaust (heat exchangers and muffler)
17 inch cup wheels
Body kit
Fiberglas front, back, tail and rocker panels. Removed the heavy bumpers, bumperettes, bumper shocks, and deleted any reinforcement bars in front, left the back tho. (my thinking is someone may hit me, but i'm not going to hit any body
i hope)
granted the euro lights are standard (But expensive)
white guauges are minor and to each an opinion
My engine is really tight, so no need to rebuild, but the tranny was completely overhauled about a year or so ago.
When you think of how many hours went into that body kit, in addition to the cost of the kit and supplies and paint, that is worth something. to the right person. If I do end up selling it, I am not sure if i want my next 911 to be anything different than the 79SC, they seem so light? and i hear the 915 tranny revs faster than a g50?
what are your thoughts on the best year of 911 as far as quickness and handling? also dependability.
I hear great things too baout the 83?
