I hope you're joking. Most likely you won't have a sudden heart attack, but your circulatory system will increasingly not work properly leading to eventual amputation of limbs. High blood glucose is also very hard on internal organs like the kidneys, which also can fail early. Lets not talk about the diabetic retinopathy, which will eventually lead to blindness. Death will more likely be slow and painful.

Take a few days to get used to the idea of living with diabetes, and read as much as you can about it. Virtually all of the complications associated with diabetes are preventable if you take care of yourself and follow doctor's orders. It's far from the end of the world, although it seems like it when you're diagnosed.
