Indeed! I remember reading some 30+ years ago that the .45 ACP has approx. 95% of the dropping/stopping power of my .44 magnum, and have never understood someone opting for a 9mm (despite the extra magazine capacity) unless you're just punching holes in paper. Maybe I should have asked "which oil is better"
