I would also have to drink the"cool-aid" about MAX. I know they are the dominant service-dealership in the NE. I also believe they have expanded both dealerships in NH, and in NY with another being built closer to NYC.
They are offer a lot of extras to their customers and also to the general public. Whether it be organized rides, free catered education classes, parties, track-days, drive-through service, free pick-up/drop-off in just about through-out NE. They are truly a one stop shop. Although I did not get a fancy key-ring when I had bought my "K" bike.
Bob does have it spot-on though about his business plan. I would pay a premium on motorcycles to get better service, and to get a better sense of a "trust-worthy" relationship. Anybody can sell a product (Motorcycle), it's really what happens after the transaction that makes you feel truly satisfied.
