wow - didn't know about that one -- Jenks was one of the great automotive writers.
Agreed. the book is full of anecdotes about his relationships with von Hanstein, Wolfgang von Trips and many of the drivers of the early post WW2 era. He managed to get the British Porsche importer to sell him a 356 for a tad below invoice and that's a neat story as well. Lots of good personal pictures.
