My guess would be that your battery is beyond dead (ok...so the lights still work...). If it were the alarm acting up, the stero clock shouldn't reset each time. If your battery is wasted and you attempt to start it, it would cause the clock to reset. Do you have a multimeter? If you do you can try see how many volts you're getting from the battery.
