My brother in law was in the exact same situation in N.C. There were days when he couldnt even step out into the shop because of the phone. He FINALLY hired a young guy from the local community college who was enrolled in auto mechanics. He comes in everyday at 12pm-ish and understands cars and can answer most questions customers ask. They both benefit. The young guys hangs around and learns about cars, and my B.I.L. gets to work! It has saved him for sure!
