I had the pleasure of delivering a table (estate sale) to a retired LEO yesterday, and he was showing me a few of his 70+ firearms and reliving his vivid memories. He's had a stroke, and the short story is, last Sat. when I met him, I discovered he was my cousin's deceased (cancer) LEO husband's partner back in '73 and was standing right beside him when his other LEO best friend "stupidly" accidently shot him right through the stomach with a 9mm at the courthouse (he was VERY lucky to survive) and I heard the "real" story for the first time... but I digress, sorry. Anyways, one of the pistols he showed me was his old service Glock .45, and I didn't like it nearly as much as some of his others nor my own. It just didn't feel like a "quality piece" though I have no doubt it probably is...different strokes.
