My car has Ruf Speedline wheels; front are 8x17, rear are 10x17. Interestingly, the front wheels weigh 29lbs. and the rear wheels 28lbs. When I bought the car in 2005 it had Dunlop SP Sport 8000 tires; 205/50ZR17(front) 255/40ZR17 (rear). I don't think the Denloc tires are currently available. In May this year, I replaced the Dunlops with Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 tires; 215/45ZR17 (front) and 255/40ZR17 (rear). I haven't got many kilometers on them yet but I think they have very good wet and dry traction and were very competitively priced.
The old Dunlops were 5 years old and although they had only 7000 miles on them, they were starting to age. Funny enough, the Ruf test driver had no hesitation to take me on a top speed run on the autobahn in May 2006 with the Dunlops fitted. We achieved 350 km/h with no problems!
