68 911S ROW also had the elephant hide vinyl on the door panels, aluminum trim instead of the heavier chrome plated brass window frames, and a thin aluminum strip on the arm pads (doors) and the rear finisher strips below the quarter windows.
so basically they took 68 S's , tossed in the "smogged" T engine with webers, and sold it to the usa
L's and S's that have passed thru our hands (original ones, not modified) have had the same trim details that i posted here
