On the way home from picking up my 911 I drove it part way and my wife drove it the rest of the way home. The money did come out of household funds after all. That night we went to play cards at our friends' house and I took my colleague and friend out for a spin and then let him drive it too (he took his wife along) - all on the first day of ownership! So, I guess that if I know and trust someone I'll let them drive it.
Oh yeah, my sister drove it when I took it to Florida in June of this year.
