idle surge
I replaced the breather hoses & lge vacuum lines, gaskets on my 87 s4 intake..now the car surges at idle......on a cold start it will rev up to 2200 rpm & stays there until it starts to warm up...it will then level off at around 1000 rpm & then down to say 950...it will then start to surg between 850-1100....I can hold it at 1100 with the accelerator & it is fine, but when I let off, it reverts to surging...I have been advised that it probably is the MAF....or the IAV....is there anything I can do without removing the intake again?????other than trying a known good MAF..
