Shifter boot replacement without knob removal possible?
Hi there,
...since I don't want to destroy my original 915 shift knob by taking it off, anyone ever tried to replace the rubber shifter boot by pulling it over the knob (heat, lubricating etc). Just curious and running out of projects.
