azgfd is held in high esteem by other game and fish depts. nationwide. they are very efficient on a budget that is not paid by state coffers. all azgfd income derived from hunt/fish tags and a small % of the arizona lottery money. they literally run their ranger vehicles til the wheels fall off or they break the frames on them.

GOD HELP YOU IF YER CAUGHT OUT IN BOONIES WITH ANYTHING MORE THAN A FIVE (5) ROUND CLIP and have ANY DEAD ANIMAL ANY SPECIES IN POSSESSION!
soooooo... the technical letter of the law is FIVE (5) rds in a semi-auto with (1) ONE IN THE PIPE for a total of SIX (6) ROUNDS. if you have a clip/magazine capable of holding more than that and yer caught..............YOUR LIFE (EMPHASIS ON WORD - LIFE) will change to POO in a matter of moments when confronted by AZGFD!!!!!! ruger 10/22's you may hunt small game with larger capacity clips remingtons and marlins also.
now if you have owned a lee enfield in .303(hell of a round) you will know it has only 10 rd magazines available for it. but since its a BOLT ACTION you may carry 10 rd clips.
using a weapon that does not offer a FIVE (5) rd clip and trying to put a block of wood to disallow more rds. added is really pushing the law to the letter and your asking for trouble.
azgfd will find us/will check us/and will have everyone with a bull tag on a computer readout sheet the ranger will check off after checking tags and weapons. they are efficient as hell and SNEAKY AS HELL!
dave pender (game ranger of the year numerous years) is based out of seligman.az., one year while i was freezing my nardos off dressed like the michelin man, wind blowing sideways at 40mph, widowmaker tree branches falling out of trees, 9 degree high temps for the day, comes driving up in a new chevy z71 wearing shorts and a hawaiian shirt the first time i met him. asked me how was it going and i explained it was too windy for a fire and im freezing my nardos off and havent seen any deer yet. he then asks me for my license and tag. now thats UNDERCOVER!
thruout the state during different seasons azgfd will set up roadside STINGS, utilizing fake stuffed remote control game. it could be anything...........elk deer pig antelope bighorn sheep whatever. game will prance around in secluded area with natural bullet backdrop. game will be very enticing. this is usually started about 5 days before a hunt opens. usually setup so unethical hunters will shoot from road or vehicle. once they unload on remote control game from their vehicle or the roadway..............azgfd descends upon them like a GREEN ENEMA WITH COCKED LOCKED MACHINE GUNS and take the bad guy unethical law breaking hunter away to jail!!!!! there are numerous videos of these stings floating out there and they are comical as hell to watch. imagine a guy with any type gun...... he sees game(any species) and takes gun out of window of truck or sitting on quad and UNLOADING on animal and the animal still running around in circles or feeding and it never goes down. guys have reloaded clips multiple times and not killed RC animal and are going WTF!!!! meanwhile azgfd is descending on him like a POO TSUNAMI! hahahahahahahahaha

2 bull elk poached in unit 10 a month ago north of ashfork, az., reward up to $8000 bucks. that would sure help out my 911 engine rebuild fund!!!!!!!
