Older homes, good schools, and bicycle to work...Look at the Arcadia area in Phoenix. North of Indian School, South of Camelback, East of 40th Street and West of Scottsdale Rd. Homes are probably 275 and up in the current market. Summer here will be refreshing compared to the humidity in Austin.
