No, not DisneyWorld. Our franchise of a large vending company has had a no-beard policy for 75+ years. Every contract year, our unions try to get it changed to no avail.
Personally, I think it's a silly policy but I don't own the company.I do tend to grow at least a goatee when I am off for more than a few days.
I had a union guy come in after his vacation sporting a full goatee. Obviously, I had to dole out a verbal consultation and remind him of the policy. I didn't see him for a few days so I thought the matter was done.
I surprised him at one of our sites and he still had it. I couldn't believe that he just didn't take care of it. When I asked him about, his response was, ( I am not kidding, here) "Awwwww man, the ladies like it. Why do you have to pick on me about something so petty?"
I actually had to write him up for this. Unfreakin'believeable!!!!
